Zpen – Dane Elec
A bad handwriting has always been annoying for others, sometimes even for yourself. Dane-Elec has developed the Zpen. Finally a good reason to pay extra attention to your scribbling. That is of course if you feel that automatically transferring your notes to your PC and converting them to digital text is beneficial.



All your notes stored on your PC
A first glance at the Zpen reveals nothing out of the ordinary. It looks like a large ballpoint, writes like any other pen and it can be used on almost any type of paper. However, the Zpen is unique in a sense that it stores all your notes digitally. These notes can then be transferred to (and stored on) your computer. The Zpen comes with handwriting recognition software that transforms your notes into digital text. That is, if your handwriting is readable.

The Zpen comes with a small adapter. The adapter can be attached to the paper that you are writing. In fact it is the adapter that stores your notes. It has a USB-port, allowing you to connect it to your computer.

"The battery of my pen was empty"
The Zpen Is a funny gadget, that is for sure. Especially for someone who would like to re-print his or her notes. Sharing and e-mailing your written notes suddenly becomes possible. Only the fact that your pen can also have an empty battery in next to a shortage of ink, seems strange.
