IFA 2008: Philips Net TV
At IFA 2008 Philips showcased its Philips Net TV. This open web TV platform is already tested by 250 homes in Amsterdam and is scheduled for release in 2009. The Philips Net TV is actually a HDTV with a built-in chip that enables it to access webservices like transport information and online video streaming.
