CES 2009: Samsung and Nvidia go 3D
Samsung introduced at CES 2009 the 2233RZ monitor, which is compatible with Nvidia’s new GeForce 3D Vision. It is the first Samsung 3D monitor that is able to create a realistic 3D effect. The Samsung 22-inch LCD monitor is housed in a thin, glossy black bezel and features a white LED backlight instead of the fluorescent one. This produces better color results and better contrast.
3D Games
Together with Nvidia’s software and high-tech active shutter glasses, the 2233RZ monitor Samsung automatically converts over 350 games to stereoscopic 3D without the need for special game patches. The Nvidia 3D glasses are easily powered over a standard USB cable and can last an entire week without a recharge.
