Kuusamo Finland
In the North-East of Finland we find the ultimate destination for your winter holiday, a town called Kuusamo. Pure nature is still visible in this town. Frozen lakes, forest covered with snow and the Northern light! Quinty gets to go on a ride with husky’s and they pull her through the snow to find out what else Kuusamo has to offer.



Ruka Kuusamo
Kuusamo can be found at around 50 kilometers from the Russian border. In winter this town is an absolute paradise for all the snow fanatics amongst us. In Kuusamo we find the most popular ski resort of Finland, Ruka. Ruka offers more than 28 ski routes. Besides skiing and snowboarding you can also enjoy ice-fishing, ice-climbing, snowmobiles and even riding on a reindeer!

Kuusamo Husky’s
Quinty gets to go on a ride with a couple of husky’s. Her guide, Tjerda Vesilahti, tells her al about the animals. Husky’s are perfect for a snowride because of their great personality and the fact that they never fight each other. In summer the dogs get three months off, because of the weather. In June it’s to hot and all the snow disappears, which makes it impossible to go snowriding.
