Coral Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is the biggest coral reef in the world. The reef is set in the Coral Sea, east of the state Queensland, on the coast of Australia. The reef expends over a length of 2000 km. No wonder the Great Barrier reef is the most popular place for tourist to visit and everybody calls it the best dive in the world!

World inheritance
Since 1981, the Great Barrier Reef is a protected area and is on the list of world inheritance. Due to global warming, many tourist boats, fishermen and the big shipping industry, the coral is highly damaged. Therefore it is good to know that the reef is now protected area and that it can stay the most beautiful reef in the world.
